The National Museums and Galleries of Northern Ireland was established last year to run the Ulster Museum, the Ulster-American Folk Park and the Ulster Folk And Transport Museum. Michael Houlihan, former Director of the Horniman Museum and Gardens in south London, was appointed as its first Director. Tony Canavan spoke to him recently.
